iPhone and Android

Posted by lorenb on Oct 1, 2008 in business, iphone, linux

I see that Apple has finally dropped their NDA on the iPhone. That should help out as people can finally write books and trade programming tips.

I also was playing with the Android SDK. Eclipse has gotten better since I used it last. The git plugin is good, wish XCode supported git too. I found that Google’s Android emulator was slower than Apple’s. It’s not a huge problem but over time with complie/test/debug add up. I need to read more on the API docs and see what is possible and how things work.
