I got a new monitor today, a Dell UltraSharp 24-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel (2405FPW). It was easy to get X.org running at 1900×1200. I just had to add the following modeline to my xorg.conf:

Modeline "1920x1200"  154.128 1920 1968 2000 2080  1200 1203 1209 1235 -hsync -vsync

It looks really nice. I’m going to enjoy this!

Now I just need to figure out if I have enough desk space to use my old 20″ Dell Flat Panel (2000FP) and figure out if my video card will run both monitors in a TwinView setup.

I’ve released LAT 0.6.1. Changes since 0.6:

• Changing filter for AD User & Computer view to better match all users/computers (New filter from Vladimir Stojiljkovic)

• Show list of known attributes when adding entry in the browser view

I’m proud to announce the release of LAT 0.5.99. Check out the ChangeLog or download the tar.gz or Gentoo Ebuild.

One of the big changes in this release is that I’ve converted over to Gtk# 2.0. This was going to be the 0.6 release of LAT but I was having problems building packages on Ubuntu and SuSE. So while I wait for those distros to update their Gtk# 2.0 packages I thought I’d release a development snapshot.
