Events / libgnetwork
Still working on trying to get the sensor analysis code to function properply in an event-driven model. Been a pain in the ass mostly. All I’m trying to do is:
- connect to a specified port
- read any software banner
- if there nothing to read right away send a HTTP GET to force some kindof server response
- read the response (if any) from the server
I’ve gotten some assistance from some other GNet developers so I’ve at least been making some progress. I’m getting closer to figuring this out.
In the mean time, since I’m getting tired of being annoyed by GNet I started a fork of sussen-sensor today. It’s based on GLib 2.3 and uses libgnetwork. At some point, I’ll merge the code into the main tree. It’s just a side project right now.
